About Yao Jie
Top Badminton Player
Yao Jie (Female, April, 1977) was one of the top badminton players in the Netherlands. She has got the Gold prize at the European Championships in 2002, and has participated in two Summer Olympic Games.
Besides, she has also won many prizes at BWF tournaments. She was one of the Dutch team in Uber Cup and got the Silver prize. Her best world ranking is Number 3 of women’s single.
In 2013, she was entitled as “Ambassador of Badminton Nederland” by the municipality of ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
Coaching Experiences
In October, 2013, Yao Jie received her diploma as Sportleider 3 Badminton, and started coaching career in the Netherlands. Since 2018, Yao Jie has been working as the trainer at Hamburg Badminton Verband (HBV), Germany. She is in charge of instructing both high-level junior players and beginners.
About Eric Pang
Eric was a Top Dutch badminton player, who became European Junior Champion in 2001.
He won the National Dutch Championships seven times from 2009 to 2015. His highest world ranking was 12nd in men’s single. He has led Team NL to won the silvers twice in European Mixed Team Championships.
Now he is working as a leading trainer in Hamburger Badminton Verband (HBV).
